Urinary tract issues are common in cats, yet they are often overlooked because early symptoms can be subtle. UTIs and cystitis may cause frequent litter box visits, painful urination, and reduced urine volume. In severe cases, cats can develop urinary blockage, which can become life-threatening in a short time. Persistently acidic urine (often shown as orange) may increase the risk of calcium oxalate crystals and stones. Alkaline urine (often shown as blue) can make struvite crystals more likely and may be associated with infection and inflammation—creating a cycle of recurrence, longer treatment, and higher costs. In addition, protein in urine may indicate kidney stress or a potential risk of chronic kidney disease, while blood in urine can be linked to irritation from stones, infection, or more serious urinary tract damage. The earlier these changes are detected, the better the outcome.
With the goal of “detect early and intervene early,” we developed two types of Health Monitoring Granules: pH Monitoring Granules and 3-in-1 Health Monitoring Granules. The pH granules provide an easy, color-based indication of urine acidity/alkalinity—orange/green/blue—helping owners track trends over time and spot unusual shifts. The 3-in-1 granules expand screening to three key indicators: alkaline urine (purple-red), urine protein (light green), and urine blood (blue), offering a more comprehensive at-home check. Our purpose is not to replace professional veterinary diagnosis, but to solve common at-home challenges—difficulty collecting urine, uncertainty about what is “normal,” and detecting problems too late—by moving daily health management forward.
Using the granules at home is simple and convenient: mix them into your cat litter at the recommended ratio, and your cat’s normal litter box routine will trigger the color change. No urine collection, no devices, and no complicated steps—just a quick color read in seconds. With regular tracking, it becomes easier to notice changes over time. If purple-red, light green, or blue appears, or if abnormal colors persist, you can seek veterinary testing sooner with clearer evidence. This makes routine monitoring easy, frequent, and low-cost—helping pet owners stay worry-free while supporting their cat’s urinary health.
